Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is a word unscrambler?

A word unscrambler finds words that can be made from a set of letters. WordFinderHub uses only the letters you enter and can require every letter when Use all letters is enabled.

Does WordFinderHub store the letters or lists I enter?

No. The three tools run in your browser and WordFinderHub does not save your searches, word lists or random picker entries.

Can I find words that start or end with certain letters?

Yes. Word Finder supports Starts With and Ends With searches and lets you narrow results by length and category.

Where does the word list come from?

The core English list is generated from public-domain Alt12Dicts data and filtered to favor recognizable English words. See Word Sources & Licensing for details.

How does the Random Picker choose a winner?

The picker uses the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator. The winning item is selected before the animation begins, so animation timing does not affect the result.

Do duplicate Random Picker entries count separately?

Yes. Every non-empty line is one entry, so repeated entries receive repeated chances unless they are removed after a pick.

Is WordFinderHub affiliated with a word game or dictionary publisher?

No. WordFinderHub is an independent word utility and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any third-party word game or dictionary publisher.
